    She's here!!!

We decided to get a girlfriend for Niji. Picked her up from Rottsko :) She's nameless at the moment. She's such a cutie patootie <3 It looks like she's smiling! :) Getting ready for bed. I'm sure she's very tired after traveling across the country.

Why are ambilobe chameleons less expensive than other Panther chameleons?

I myself have a nosy ankarea and was wondering why a nosy ankarea is more expensive than an ambilobe because ambilobe chameleons have more color?

    random question about panther pads

I was reading up on panther chameleons pads on their head and I wanted to see a comparison of a healthy head of a panther with non-sunken pads and one who's pads are sunken in, so that I can keep an eye on my chameleons pads as well. thanks!

    Pro-Biotic?

My vet gave me some pro-biotic for my panther chameleons. It's intended to supplement the "good gut bacteria" in my chameleons. He gave it to my overweight female suggesting that it would help her digest her food better. He also said that I should dust my feeders for ALL of my chameleons with...

    Name my chameleons!

I just got a new panther today, but i can not find a name for him . I think he is an ambilobe, but i am not absolutely sure. I got him off craigslist. I am buying a new cage for him because he is in a baby cage, I think the measurements are 10x15x25in. I know that is a ridiculously small cage...

    Does anyone know...?

How often is it that a panther chameleon will lay a 2nd, or 3rd clutch after one gestation period? I've heard that due to sperm retention they are able to have up to 7 clutches of eggs :O So my question is how long does it take for the female to recover before she starts producing more eggs...

    Temperature Inquiry/Proposition?

Hello, Our little panther (F. paradalis) just laid her 1st clutch of eggs, and I had a bit of an interesting situation involving the temperature of the eggs. She laid them on Aug 24th (and one single egg on the 22nd) 23 all together. However, they came quicker than anticipated (17 days gravid...

Nosy Be Growth and color change

Good morning everyone. I am re-posting this because I messed it up the first time and couldn't get the pics to work properly. This is a neat series of photos of my baby Nosy Be that I got from Screameleons. I initially thought he was going to be a lackluster runt because he didn't start...

Showing off my crew (pic heavy)

I haven't posted pics of my herd yet and I'm procrastinating to avoid studying for finals. Enjoy! George - the one that started it all! He's a total jerk though. Mean little sucker that hides when I feed him even though I haven't done anything close to touching him in like a year. He...
