The first time my chameleon barfed I thought it was poo but, I have now seen her barf two more times, help what's wrong?

Mine barfs up black solder fly larva.

I think it was Dubai’s and mealworms (from previous post)

Mealworms can cause barf if the bran or whatever media they live if goes bad by having too much moisture. You end up with worms covered in mold or rotting veg, and well the same goes for whats in the worms as well.
True, but normally there isn’t much moisture unless adding gutload. Hmmmm…

I give the mealworms some carrot, but not to gut load them, just to feed them do I not need to do that?

Last puke i had was my buddy was putting a lid on his farm, and it was getting heavy moisture and turning into cooked oatmeal with blue mold growing.
This thread is pretty old….a lot has happened since this thread…look at the other posts made by the OP @leedragon .
