1st Egg Lay?

My chameleon Persephone has been acting odd the past few days. Hanging around at the bottom of her cage and being disinterested in her crickets (though she does eventually eat them). She's somewhere between a year and a year and a half old. I'm wondering if she's getting ready to lay her first eggs. Does this sound normal? And if this is her first clutch how can I help be ready and ready her cage for it?

Also, there is no reptile vet in the area. All I've got is you guys. :D

Unless she is a species that gives live birth, like Jacksons, then she will need a lay box. There are many other posts and threads on here that talk specifically about it.

She is a veiled, and has a sand bucket in her cage. It's the biggest that can fit in her cage but I hope it's big enough.

Not able to take a picture of her set up atm, but will get one soon.

Does this sound like pre-egg laying behavior?
