I think mantids and roaches are so cool. A roach egg case is a lot like an ootheca and mantids and roaches are very close relatives in the insect family. Although it seems unlikely, just take a look at that dubias face and compare it to that of a mantids. Freaky to think that two totally "different" animals are so similar.
