Hello I have an (almost) 5 mo Old Panther Chameleon (ambilobe).

He has been eating 6-7 Crickets per day & 3 Superworms per day (which he loves).

is it ok to have this as his staple diet.

Once or Twice a week i replace the 3 superworms with one juicy blue Hornworm.

He seems to growing nice and healthy, but lately i have been reading here and there on the forums that superworms should be very limited in the diet and only be given to them once a week at most? why is this are the superworms bad?

I gutload them with carrots, and gutload my crickets with carrots, apples, sweetpotatoes, and Flukers orange cube cricket feeder.

i dont have acces to Dubia roaches or Silkworms or Flies, so i was hoping to get some feedback from experienced keepers that this diet is A-Ok, otherwise i will try take any advice, given, thanks in advance for your help

I try not to feed more then 4-5 per week. They are high in fat and have a hard shells. My Cham loves them too but they can be addicting. Try feeding fresh molted ones (white and kind of see thru). Silksworms are a very good worm to feed and really aren't as hard to care for as people make out.
