2 baby panther's

Yep, that would work! Just make sure there is a good 4-5" gap from the highest point to the lip of the tub so they don't escape! I would keep them in there for a couple of months honestly until they can eat 1/4" crickets. The 18x18x36 may even be a little too big for them at that age, but it's possible they would be fine.

Okay thank you guys for your help I want 2 healthy babies so if you can think of anything else just let me know definitelyhelping me out big here

I would think misting would be fine unless your not sure they are drinking. In that case I would do both. Just have to watch water build up in that container.

Wow those are very small to have been sold already, good luck with them you will need to pay close attention and get them lots of food.

Gosh, they are really tiny. Did you say they were shipped to you? Please tell me they weren't shipped last Friday and received on Monday. Babies that tiny are not for novices.

Hydration and temperature are probably your biggest worries. Mist, mist, and then mist some more. Since you don't have live plants, your humidity will drop lower and more quickly than if you have live plants in. You might want to think about adding some sort of substrate to try to raise the humidity, just make sure the substrate is too big to be eaten. The downside will be that the feeder insects can hide in it.

I fill my cages with lots of tiny branches--they really need tiny twigs to grab on. I will just cut a fresh Live Oak branch and strip the leaves and pack it into the cage. I rip the fake plants apart, and use the tufts to add leaves to my bare natural branches. That gives them a bit of cover plus lots of places for mist to accumulate. I zip tie everything together.

You can dust your fruit flies with calcium. Don't even think of cup feeding them--they need lots of food available to them and you don't want one to drive the other away from the food.

Good luck--they are adorable.

I have been seeing them drink and eat a few small crickets I am waiting for fruit flies. They were shipped Wednesday and received Thursday. I have been have been misting 4 5 times a day Temps are around 80. I know they aren't for beginners bUT this is what showed up and I'm doing my best. I can't just say nope and tell them to take them back. If you have any GOOD things I could do let me know.

I'm sorry if you thought I was being critical. I really wasn't--I was just commiserating with you.

I thought I gave you a lot of good suggestions! You can probably buy fruit flies at a pet shop. In my city, a reptile store's fruit flies tend to be in better condition than a big box pet store's. Do you have enough crickets that are small enough? You can have them sent priority overnight--order Monday and you'll receive them Tuesday. As far as your original question about separating them, if you watch closely and weigh, you'll know. One will just start to lag behind the other. You've likely got a ways to go before they need to be separated.

I know I appreciate it I just heard that a lot i really had no idea they were this small but I'm trying trust me it scares me more than you lol. yea i have a tube light the one just completely shed in 2 hours and he is really blue that is the bigger one i see him turn a little red also really cool I'm excited. the smaller one is dark brown mostly is that that normal of the smaller ones to be that color he/she turns a little bit lighter every now nd then just want to know if the darker colors are normal on little ones. yea i got small ones and they don't like them i got the kind that start with a h coming on Monday and 2 weeks crickets i have some 2 week ones is what I'm feeding them now. they have been running around a lot i think they are doing pretty good.
