2 days without eating...Please help!!

Nope. They don't have a staple. Variety is best so I try to not have a staple. Hornworms, several different species of roaches, silkworms, and superworms are fed more regularly but their diet also includes wax worms, mealworms, butterworms, house flies, blue bottle flies, butterflies, moths, snails, isopods (Rollie pollies,) stick insects, grass hoppers, different types of crickets, and others that I can't think of right now.

Variety is best.

Yeah. I enjoy a lot of the insects that I feed off, so I breed many of them. I'm really starting to get into roaches :D

mouth rot

hi guys with reference to mouth rot in reptiles. is commonly caused by low temps signs of mouth rot are a substance in the mouth that looks a bit like cottage cheese in the mouth a few years ago one of my snakes had it. i hadnt had it long about a week when i noticed the animal couldnt close its mouth properly and was quite inactive i suspect the animal already was ill but after a course of antibiotics and the mouth area being wiped out daily with sterile wipes and boiled water he was fine although he lost a good few teeth which grew back with time. respitory infections i dont have much experience with thats a vet job. but all are caused mostly by low temps.
what i will stress though is the longer you leave mouth rot the more severe it becomes and WILL end in death if you aint sure go to the vets.
ps my yemens sits with her mouth open for short periods even right under the basking lamp surely if she was too hot she would move.
hope this helps you out.

They often do not move when they are too warm. They just sit there. Females should have rather low basking temperatures if you want to prolong her life. It's way way to warm if she is opening her mouth.

I've never personally experienced mouthrot, but I have a chameleon who previously had it. Her lower lip is scarred and doesn't quite touch the upper lip like it should. It sticks out a little and is slightly off color. It doesn't stop her from anything though :)
