General Info
+ Members with little to no football knowledge can be competitive.
+ If needed two leagues will be created and a system devised to find an ultimate winner.
+ After the entry deadline leagues will be organized and invitations sent.
+ We currently plan to use the free services of yahoo sports.
+ This will be our second year to try this. Last year we created a single private league among sponsors and site staff.


Eligibility
+ We can only accept a very limited number of members.
+ Junior members must advance to regular member status before the entry deadline.
+ Members that participated last year will be pushed to the front of the line.
+ Members new to the game will be ordered by the date they first requested to participate.
+ Only full leagues will be accepted. That means some of the last members to request participation could be rejected.


Trophy
+ A trophy will be given to the ultimate winner and loser among all leagues. The details and scope of the two trophies are still under consideration.


Dates
+ Entry Deadline: August 24th
+ Proposed Draft Day: August 31st
+ First Game: September 4th


How to Join
To request participation simply reply to this thread stating that you would like to join the competition. Please only do so if you seriously plan to stay active throughout the season. This thread will be opened on August 14th at 7:30pm CST.

I'm in! What site are we using for the draft and through the season? Will there be a time limit for picks (please)?

It's great to see that we already have enough members for a full league. We plan to create two leagues if needed so there is still time to join.

I won't be able to show you everything but there are many articles and tutorials available online. Once you know what's going on it requires spending about 20-30 minutes a week to keep your team updated with the best available players. We had a couple members that were new to the game last year and they picked it up quickly.

We currently plan to use yahoo sports. I'm not sure yet about the draft and will likely make that decision next weekend. Last year we just used the default rules. We want to keep it casual.

Glad were playing pro. I saw Brad's Longhorn #1 and was perplexed. College would have been hard, but made for great rivalry.

I'll join in, but only because Junglefries twisted my arm. I'm only in it for the trash talking I'm not entirely sure how this sportsball thing works, but i want my starting line up to be:

1. Eleanor Roosevelt, QB
2. James T. Kirk, Chief Wicket Keeper
3. Aaron Burr, Cheer Squad
4. Ke$ha, Goalie

I feel pretty good about their stats. Heisman Cup, here we come!

Lol. I better start researching how this works. I haven't played fantasy football only weekly pick em type pools.
