Hello,

Three months ago I posted a picture showing growth spurt of my male parsonii. Well it's time again for the new update. Now 11 months old. He was NOT HAPPY (you can see by his dark coloration) being held and weighed this time around. Came in at 250 grams.

Nate,
Thanks so much for sharing your parson's growth spurts pics!! Hope it encourages others to take chronological growth pics of their Chameleon, too and post them up for all of us to admire!

How did you get your Parsons?? Since they are so hard to obtain, maybe I should repharase the question, why were you so lucky to get one!!

I am always reworking my setup. He is currently in a 6ftLx3ftWx6ftH wire mesh enclosure. I also have an indoor free range setup that I rotate between my chams. So no one is permanently free range (I have dogs).

For lighting I use reptisun 5.0 compacts and 75w house lights for basking areas. My Panther setups differ from my Brev setup and Parson's setups. I find that I empty the most amount of water from my Parson's enclosure. ;) They love water, cant get enough of it and will enjoy sitting in the mist stream.

I haven't played around with Veilds, personally I don't care for them. I will be looking to add a female mitsio/mafana (for breeding), fischers, and other rhampholeon species to my collection though. Now that I am home ;-P

Very cool man! Do you keep your parson in the same room as the panther? Just wondering what your temp range is for him.

Vegas,

I keep them in the same room as my panther yes. I live in a loft so its all the same room really. lol. Temp is generally controlled in my space at 60-65 at night (winter) and 70 during the day.

In the summer nights are high 60's and mid 70's during the day unless I turn on central air. I then adjust humidity and temps in each enclosure individually using lights, and misting cycles to account for specific species needs.

I have panthers, parsonii, brevs, and some others that I am working on right now.

I will post my next update soon, every 3 months. As for breeding, I am looking for a female right now but not necessarily to dive right in to breed. I am just expanding my collection. And yup he is an orange eye.

So if anyone has a female PM me please.

I also have a young orange eye I believe to be a female only time will tell. I would consider a breeding project with your male in the future .
