Here’s a 3 month update on Noob Noob the male veiled Chameleon he is doing well and growing fast,I’ve replaced everything except the basking dome(do not listen to people in the pet stores) and also recently went bioactive just hoping he stops devastating my isopods he loves the tropical whites as soon as one pops there head out he jets down the tree to get them.Got a fecal done and everything checks out when he gets bigger I will take him in.Here are some pictures of him now in the bioactive screen enclosure.

Add some more branches and vines if possible. Watch out for him eating substrate, as well

Thanks

I have some vines on standby just wanna see how he moves around this whole set up first. He is a real soil muncher so I put a 1/2 inch of leaf litter and a 3/4 inch of spagnum moss and a little coir under that just Incase.
Hopefully he leaves it alone, if not, you’ll have to go back to bare bottom

Hope not bare bottom blows and he is always trying to move the paper towel and fight himself and that reflection off the bottom
For my temporary cages, I have “bare bottom”, as in I fill up a substrate tray by layering egg crate/lighting diffuser and top it off with a moss mat. Then when the water level gets to the moss mat, I siphon it out

I wanted to put all this water that we are using to a good use and also make it a little more natural while I build my wardrobe and seal it off and get new lights etc.but this enclosure is gonna be good for a while, even after he moves.

Looks great! The hibiscus seems happy, how long has it been in there?

Noob Noob looks like he is enjoying it as well :).

Thanks if his attitude is a reflection of his happiness then I’m sure he’s having a blast

The hibiscus has been inside, under grow lights for 2 months it’s been planted in the bottom for about a week or two now

It looks like it has made the transition well. Hope it stays thriving for you!

I have high hopes for it,plants are my passion(and what I go to school for)this hibiscus is doing better then the one I just bought and the one I had for 3 years the both dropping major leaves even in my sun room I’m having trouble with the ones that are not in the cage lmfao
