3 more of the dwarfs :P

All three appear to be female. I'm looking at tail length, but also, the males have more defined ridges on their backs. :)

Somewhere online I found the directions for setting up an aquarium for them. I had 1:2 and used a 10 gal aquarium. I decided that a 20 gallon was more appropriate and have one to set up.

The directions were:
Hydroballs on the bottom. They soak up any excess moisture, then put down some screen that go up the side about 1". The next layer is about an inch of aquarium charcoal. Helps keep the moisture clean. I then used a mixture of coconut fiber and sterile earth, about 2" so the ladies can dig and lay their eggs. I dampened my soil just a bit, like you would find dirt in a forest.) I then bought some very small plants (need more when I make the 20 gal ready). Be sure to wash the dirt off the roots or you will get flies. My mistake, I forgot this step and had gnats to deal with so I had to remove the dirt and plants and start over.

Next step is get a bunch of dried leaves. I washed mine (no soap) and let them dry. You can scrunch them up if your leaves are very large, I don't think it matters. Make sure that most of the soil has this leaf mulch. Next step is sticks. Different sizes and shapes (Y, Z, bent, etc.) work great so you can get some interesting highways going. I washed them well in hot water. I didn't bake them.

Set up your little highways for your guys and them spritz everything well. Introduce your brevs into their new environment and enjoy!

Oh, all 3 of those are girls. I would say that last one is going to lay eggs very soon so get your terrarium set up. I wouldn't use a screen cage because you can't set up the substrate and it is important to spritz 3-4 times a day.
