3 week old 60 gallon vivarium

i just setup a 60 gallon vivarium enclosure, i have been playing with the idea of pygmy leaf chameleons.
this pic shows very high water level because i was tuning in the dripping rock wall feature.
i know pygmys wont do well with standing pools, but will they be ok with constant slow dripping water with proper drainage?
i will allow some more vegetative growth and try and stabilize the temperature, humidity, and air flow before further grooming the habitat.
additional leaf ground cover and planted ground cover is what i had in mind

any thoughts or suggestions

Not very knowledgable about pygmys, but that looks great! Im sure some dart frogs would love that viv too!

I don't know anything about Pygmies and if this would fit their needs. But i wanted to say that looks pretty awesome!

Are those mossy rocks in the water real moss? I don't know about pygmies but I know with the big chams, moss is a no no because it harbors bacteria.

yes it is moss in water and as i stated the water level was high due to tuning in a drip system, they are no longer submerged, the water level is at a minimal level, and there has been some additional ground cover added, also there isnt anything going in yet(chameleon or other), i am observing changes in humidity and still working on adiquate air circulation

You should try to get rid if any standing water as pygmies drown very easily

did you happen to read anything i posted, i am fully aware of the risks of standing water, i also havent decided what will live in my enclosure, if ur just checking out pics there are galleries for that

Sorry I completely skipped that sentence but I read everything else but pygmies would do fine but it looks perfect for some dart frogs

there is a strong possibility for dart frogs the more the tank progresses.
i dont know just have to see in a month or so how its still holding up

ok sence no one else is telling u once u drop the humidity and add some leaf litter u could have a little group in there add more little branches for their little feet and as much coverage as possible. Outnumber males 2 to 1 with no more then 2 males profuribly. Remove any showing stress. Pm me and i can help u further and direct you to other ppl who have kept pygmys. Some species need special care.

awesome thank you much, that is exactly what i was think about doing with it, but i am still debating dart frogs or pygmys. for the moment im just gonna see what kind of growth occurs weather be molds or fungus and see how the plants react over time.
i also feel like my location may determine what is more avalible to me. i am not trying to pay hundrends for live animal transport.
Mid North Eastern Colorado (Grand Junction). im not sure of any exotic animal distributors and or breeders close to my location. Denver CO and Salt Lake City UT are both about 4 hours from grand junction.
most distrubotors ive found ship from Cali, Texas, Flordia, and midwest locations.
any ideas of anything closer that i could meet for a pick up or would be relatively affordable to ship from?

This vivarium is awesome. I would still have to lean toward dart frogs for this habitat because it looks so awesome with the pools of water from previous pics. Great job setting this up. As it matures it will only get better.
