3rd time egg laying

I would say it’s 5-6 inches, I can measure as soon as I get home, and yes I put a bamboo stick in it that rests on one of her branches so she can climb in and out
Is the bamboo slippery? I would move one of the black vines so it goes into the bin, just to provide an alternate route.
The other day when she was digging and later you saw her basking, was she dirty, especially between her eyes?

Okay so just got home and sadly no digging. I don’t think she laid, I didn’t see any eggs and she still looks “fat” to me. The past few times when she’s laid she was super skinny after. Here’s some photos

Okay day # who knows haha... she was digging earlier, I just came upstairs to check and she’s up on a branch now. She did move some dirt around. DIDNT lay, maybe SHES digging some now and will finish later or tomorrow?

Is her enclosure covered? Even though you may not be in the room, she may still want that extra feeling of security. If they see us while digging, they can/will stop.

I had 2 sides covered (for moisture purposes), but I just put a towel over another side to give her more privacy! Hopefully that’s helpful

Hadn’t laid yet... still wanders about enclosure during day, I still have sides covered. Just looked on her asleep and she has this dark area? Is this concerning

If you need help finding a good vet experienced with chameleons in your area, just let us know where you are. While I can only guess at the cause of that black area, I do know that it is not at all a sign to be ignored in a gravid cham. Please take her ASAP. She‘s got to be suffering, poor sweet lady.
