4 weeks and no shed???

Hey! So I've had Geordi going on 4 weeks now and I'm kinda noticing that I haven't seen him shed in this entire time, nor have I found pieces of shed. He hasn't even looked like hes going to shed. I heard somewhere that when they're little guys they should be shedding like every 2 weeks.

Two weeks between sheds is kinda fast, maybe acceptable when theyre really young. Id say a month to 3 months apart until they reach adulthood. Then could be longer apart and less of a full body shed, more of just shedding separate body parts as they continue to get older

I'd say that he's almost 5 months, when they sent him to me they said he was in between 3 and 4, and I would have put him at just about 4.

then he def wotn shed every 2 weeks, probably not even every month.
maybe a month here, then a month and half till the next one.

When my cham was young it was every 2 weeks like clock work, but it also happens really fast. Like within an hour. It could be he shed and you didn't even notice.

Wouldn't I find the bits of shed? I have heard that they are tempted to eat it... would he eat all of it if he had the chance?

not always. they can shed tiny pieces, it doesnt always coem off in large chunsk. and if your cage is planted well...

and yes, some wil eat it.

Mine makes such a mess I have to clean the whole set up lol but I have seen him eating some of it.

lol and here I was thinking that I knew everything that went on in his life... Man bad parenting skills... JK They're sneaky little bugs. I'm still at the stage where I can stare into his cage and not see him, but he'll be there staring at me.
