Hahahahahah yeah! I tried hand feeding it since I've been trying hand feed her since I got her but she clearly really stress and runs away when I put my hand in..
But when I tried to hand feed the hornworm, she didn't run or turn black this time... She did the most odd thing I seen.. Thought something might be wrong. Was going take a picture because when I held out the hornworm... She stood very still with her mouth wide open for a good 6mins.... So I thought maybe something wrong so I put the hornworm on a vine and grab my iPad and by time I came back, the hornworm was in her mouth... So I took pictures of her eating it lol

Great pics I have a pod shipped out along with some pho. worms and other treats they will all be firsts for my veiled he is just a little older than yours.

He really loved his first superworms though Ive been smashing there heads so they dont hurt him and he always eats em still

Just as an FYI you don't need to cut off the heads!! I was told that also from my local petstore and its absolute crap!!!! Just an old folk lore from long ago. Your Cham will hold it longer in his/her mouth if (s)he feels it is not dead. Don't worry!!

How many superworms is too many in a 2-3 period? Im low on crickets until shipment arrives is why Im asking but I have superworms. I have a 6 month old male veiled.

We had a petstore tell us to cut the heads off too or they would bite from the inside and possibly cause internal injuries. Needless to say, we have steered clear of superworms (mainly because the ones around here seem really large for Izzie). We have phoenix worms on the way.

Yeah I mean they are very lively I dont think its impossible but probably highly unlikely I just daze them normally especially the big ones

Phoenix worms are supposed to be pretty healthy arent they I saw a chart that had them marked highly. Variety is the key.

That's what my petstore said. Pls don't listen to them it's a false rumor!!! Trust me it saves u a lot of time. If u look up videos of chameleon eatting horn worms and super worms the heads are on all of them!!

I think u can give them how many as u want. I don't think they will hurt ur Cham? She just could get full very easily!!
