68 grams at 7 months

I know there is not a set weight average for male chameleons but wanted to check and see if the weight tracking we have been doing sounds like he is on a good trajectory. He was 29 grams at 5 months, 37 grams at 5.5 months and he is now about 7 months and weighed in at 68 grams yesterday. He is an Ambilobe sired by Primo, so we think he has the potential to be a big guy.

His weight and weight gain all sound right on target to me.

Hes right about the same as my boy from Candy Cane line. 4.5m he was 20.86g then two weeks later at 5 months from hatch day he was 30.08g. He will be exactly 6 months next Sunday and I will be weighing him again then.

I have one of Primo ' s offspring as well. Jaeger is 8 months and I have had him a few weeks. He'll be going to the vet for a general health check tomorrow and I should get a weight on him, I'll share once I get it.

I wonder if they are from the same clutch? Shiva's disposition is fantastic too. He is so handleable, hand feeds and always wants out onto our hands. Here is a picture of him from yesterday.

We would be glad to get an update from another Primo offspring of around the same age. Thanks!

My guy weighed in at 108g this morning. Mine looks almost the same but with candy cane stripes under his jaw.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread I have a veiled Cham at 148 grams he's doubled in weight and size in a month any idea how old he might be ? The guy at the pet shop had no idea so guessing must have been about 3-4 months old

My boy is up to 126g. Totally awesome to feel the weight when he's on my hand. : ). I tried to get him to fire up but he paid no attention to the mirror....and after one minute I wasn't going to push my luck. But his blues and oranges are amazing when he's sleeping!

Yep! My guy is currently at 96 grams at 10 months. I have a feeling a growth spurt is coming soon.
