Hell everyone, i wanted to make a thread in honor of all the victims of 9-11. R.i.p. If you have a story to share this is the thread to do it. Let me start off with a couple. I was across the street in NY when the buildings were collapsing until we needed to move. Thats all i can remember i was really little. My friend saw people jumping out of buildings to kill themselves instead of getting burned. My other friend was suppose to be on there but thank god he stayed and missed the plane. My teacher at schools brother died in 9-11, he was a fire fighter:( Thats to name a few, now its your turn.

R.I.P. 9-11 Victims

God bless all of the victims. I was in school and we were outside when we say a airplane make a complete U turn in the sky and was heading towards NY, but it was the one that crashed in a field in PA.:(

Nice thought Stefan. We had a moments silence here to remember. Our thoughts are with the familys and freinds of victims, both in the planes and on the ground.

On 9-11-01, I worked at 100 Church St (1 block north of the WTC site.) I was on the phone with my fiance (we were married 17 days later) when we heard a giant explostion. A co-worker of mine on the south side of the building yelled "Holy Sh_t, there's a hole in the trade center." We were still in the building when the 2nd plane hit, then we evacuated.

I stood outside my building in utter shock at the burning buildings. I watched people jump out of those windows and watched them bounce off the ground in horror. I was only 5 blocks away when the first building came down. I had to run to get away from the dust and debris. The ground shook at the building came down and a cop told us they were under the impression that a bomb had just gone off in our subway. I watched the second tower crumble from 20 blocks away.

I couldn't leave NYC until 5 pm. When I got to the Staten Island Ferry, 7 WTC had just collapsed.

It's certainly a day I will never forget. I remember every intimate detail about that day from leaving my house for work until going to sleep. I can replay the entire day in my head from start to finish. I'll never get those images out of my head. The fear I had for my family, friends, co-workers and myself was something that was hard to get over. I know 23 people who didn't make it out of the trade center those days.

Id go with saying 'It was deliberate' and therefor a an evil criminal act, and leave it at that .
Careful where you take it with politics and sensitive matters Brock, things tend to get personal quickly, so its generally avoided. :)

Thank you Jojackson for saying that because its true. We all have our right to believe it was terrorists and accident or not and accident. We have our own opinions and i didn't want to make this thread to get personal with anyone. Im not saying this in a bad way.

Nice commemorative thread stefan. Thank You.
Remembering tragic events and the loss of life shows what kind of young man you are.
I was born and raised in NYC and while I was living in Denver at the time, had friends working in the Towers. Three people I knew and three friends from my boyhood who were NYC Firefighters were lost in that brief instant of time.
:(

It was an unforgettable day here in the UK too. I remember it was breaking news at around 3pm UK time, just as i was picking my kids up from school. Just a few hours later while events were still unfolding, I walked my son to youth club at the church and the roads were so quiet, hardly anyone about. We were all just watching events unfold on SKY news. You didn't want to watch, but at the same time you couldn't look away either. Very sad. R.I.P.
