A Canadian first

It has been a long wait but here is one of the first Nosy Mitsio babies hatched on Canadian soil.

We are pretty far behind the U.S. when it comes to the selection of chameleons that are readily available to us, but we are starting to see more and more species/sub-species popping up each day.

I opened up one of our Mitsio clutches to see some babies running around. I was so excited I almost dropped the container . I go to grab the little buggers and the first thing this little guy does is tries to bite and latch on my finger.

These guys are sired by a beauty, so I can't wait to see what they will look like when they grow up.

Congrats, Drew! Nosy mitsios are on my to-get list (along with a few dozen other species... :p). Best of luck with the lil' guys.

Thanks everyone. These are definitely exciting times around here. Next up is the Oorana Mena/Nosy Faly due in a month. It's better than Christmas :p
