A day at the Fort Woth Zoo(Pic heavy)

Hey all We went to the zoo this weekend and had a lot of fun hope you all like the pics Its only about half of the zoo Lol I forgot to charge the camera battery lol. the only thing about the whole thing that was a bummer was I saw a awesome parsonii on the ground of his set up but he looked real heathy so mybe he was just cruzing around.

I like how they have a super fragile looking "cage" around the tree in the gorilla's setup.

Any shots of the parsons overall setup?

I know I was thinking that same thing if that gorilla wanted to go up that cage is not going to stop him lol.

I wish I did but I didnt get any pics of his cage it was a very poor set up and kind of pissed me off a little. I know the guy who runs the show for reptiles at this zoo so I am going to talk to him about it. Its was maybe a 5ftx5ftx5ft set up they did have a auto mister and dripper going and lots of branches for him to move around on. I really think he may have been to hot and was going down to cool down.

I love the zoo and try to make it out there one time a year. It is just awesome every time we go.
next time I will take more pics so you can see the whole zoo

As far as zoos go, my fav. has always been the Fort Worth Zoo. Been there many times, seen a lot of changes for the better. Thanks for sharing.

I have had a horned frog before .....last time I went to the ft worth zoo the gorilla looked very sad he was sitting with his back to the glass in a corner and he had a sad look on his face he kept looking at me as if saying plzz help it pissed me off so much I havnt gone back oh and the elephant when I was there, had barely enough room to turn around they don't keep their animals in very good enclosures so that doesn't surprise me that that chams cage is like that

I do love your pictures!! BUT I must admit seeing a picture of my older brother as the first one you posted was a bit rude. When I lived in so cal I went to the san diego zoo so often, I think I knew the animals. Looks like you have a really good zoo. I can just never get enough of zoo's. Thanks lots for sharing.

Very nice! So, If you could take just ONE of those animals home (with an unlimited budget to provide the necessary habitat), which would you want? I would def want the gorilla. I could watch those guys all day!
