how can you tell the males from the females at such a small size? We just hatched our first baby carpet ourselves and would like some tips on sexing this species of hatchlings

They're extremely easy to sex right out of the egg the same way you would a panther baby. I've never been good at sexing babies in pics, but it's obvious when you see one in person...the males just have a thicker more gradually tapering tale base.

Thanks everyone. There are only 4 right now. 2.1 sex ratio, and another egg sweating last I looked. There are many more eggs though, with more due from this clutch and others in the future. I'll be selling them in a few months when they're old enough.
