About a week ago a received a 9-12 month old female Jackson's and it was kind of a surprise. We placed an order but we had no conformation of her order or even set up a date yet. So it was a bit of a surprise but she seems to be doing well besides this abscess on her cheek. I had this exact thing happen to one of my previous Jackson's before and it proved to be fatal to him. So i was wondering if there is anything i can do about it without going to a vet because i'm kind of on a budget lately but if it is necessary I will. I also noticed she is looking pretty fat and was wondering if she looked gravid to you guys. She usually sways and isn't real impressed by my male. I was also a little curious of the diet of newborns. I want to be fully prepared if one day soon i see some babies around the top of the page. But other than that she seems to be doing well.
Here she is do you guys think she is looking alright?

I would first get her to the vet she will need an atibiotic. The abcess will not subside without it. My female my. Meru Jackson has an abcess aswell and she was proscribed baytril which seems to be the go to drug with chams kinda like penicillin to humans works for everything lol. Any if she is indeed gravid get some fruit flie cultures going so you will be prepared. And keep us posted.

The vet in our area didnt do us much good last time something like this happend. What can i do without a vet in my area?
