They're in a bit of a jumble I'm afraid, but it's pretty obvious which are captive (jacksonii and brevicaudatus), and which are wild!

That's a lot of pictures :D Comments welcome!

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the photos. Tell us more about you and your trip. :)

What a wonderful way to join us. The pictures are great. The one of the baby just coming out of the shell and ready to eat someone is priceless. We all love pictures so welcome and keep the pictures coming. Where are you located? It is always fun to know where people are.:)

great pics!
what's the animal portrayed in the 11th pic from the top?

Do you mean the little green chameleon on my hand? That's Calumma gastrotaenia - I should really have put names with them all.

As for an introduction, my name's Tom and I live in London. I've been keeping and working with reptiles for only about four years, but chameleons are really my favourite exotics along with a few other oddballs. So far (chameleon-wise) I've only kept a pair of R. brevicaudatus which I bred (sadly not around any more) and a male Mt. Meru jacksonii (who is only around 2 years old, but sadly already starting to slow down) but I have some experience with tortoises, snakes and a few crocodilians. Lately I've really been missing my pygmys so I have a few plans for a pair in a few months when I get back from another trip!

Field-herping is a favourite of mine and so far I've been lucky enough to go to Australia, Ecuador, Antigua and I took a trip last year to Madagascar for two weeks, which was nowhere near long enough but I crammed quite a lot in.

Syn - as Fabian says, that is Uroplatus sikorae, which I would have walked straight past if it hadn't been for a guide! :D

Good to 'meet' you all!

Cheers Fabian, I've just realised it is you whose video (Usumbara giants hatching) I have been admiring, great videowork! ;)

Ahh, you're too kind. I'm itching of jealousy here (the healthy kind) looking at your photos from the trip to Madagascar-- truly exceptional stuff.

Welcome to the forums, Tom!

Fabián
