About how old is she?

About a month ago I bought a veiled from a breeder. They told me that she was about 3 months making her 4 months now but the more I look at her the more I doubt that. I attached a picture of her when I first got her a month ago and a picture of her from today when I weighed her at 11 grams (She was NOT happy about that whole ordeal)

Chameleon Info:

• Your Chameleon -Female veiled. Been with me about a month
• Handling - 1 time throughout my time with her.
• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? Crickets and Dubias when I can get my hands on them. Feed her as much as she can, put the rest back. Feed her once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Gut loading with apples, carrots, and potatoes.
• Supplements - What brand and Zoomed Repticalcium once a day.
• Watering - I use a pressurized misting bottle twice a day for about 3 minutes. I have seen her drink before
• Fecal Description - Normal droppings, urate is mostly white. Hasn’t been tested for parasites.
• History - already said in the original post

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - 24x24x48 screen cage
• Lighting - Fluker’s Sun Dome 10in with 75 watt bulb. T5 fixture with reflector with a Reptisun 5.0 UVB light bulb. From 7am to 9:30 pm
• Temperature - basking spot is about 85 while cage floor is about 70. Lowest overnight temperature about 67
• Humidity - Humidity after misting at the top usually stabilizes at 50 and falls to 30 after a few hours. Bottom cage humidity usually stays around 60-70
• Plants - Golden Pothos and ficus benjamina
• Placement - Cage is in my bedroom not near any fans or air vents. I’m usually the only one in my room so she has gotten used to me being in there. Cage is on a desk about 3 feet from my room floor.
• Location - Central California, more of a desert area so it gets really cold during winter and really hot during summer.

10 x 10 x 10 bucket with ReptiSoil or Children’s Playsand. Playsand is the better option. Make a test tunnel with your finger and make sure it won’t collapse and it should be good to go. This should be a permanent part of the enclosure.

I use play sand and it’s what most keepers like to use. Or a 50/50 mix. Make sure it holds a tunnel and won’t collapse on her. Like mentioned it should be a permanent part of her enclosure so it’s available to her at all times.

As she becomes sexually mature you will want to control her diet and temperatures so she won't produce large clutches.

Sexual maturity is indicated by yellowish mustardy splotches and bright blue spots.

Diet should be 3 or 4 crickets (or equal calories in other insects) every second or third day. Basking temperature at 80F.

• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? Crickets and Dubias when I can get my hands on them. Feed her as much as she can, put the rest back. Feed her once in the morning and once in the afternoon. As she’s perhaps now around 4-5 months old, you can cut back her feedings to once in the morning, maybe around 12-15 buggies. Attaching both feeder and gutloading sheets for you. Gut loading with apples, carrots, and potatoes. The healthier your feeders are the more nutrition they offer your chameleon. Over time you’ll want to start cutting down on how many feeders she gets.
• Supplements - What brand and Zoomed Repticalcium once a day. Does it have D3 in it? You should be using a phosphorus free calcium without D3 at every feeding.
  You also need to add a multivitamin and a calcium with D3, once every 2 weeks for both. Or, much easier is to get Reptivite with D3 and use that one feeding every other week...it is a multivitamin and D3 combined.
• Watering - I use a pressurized misting bottle twice a day for about 3 minutes. I have seen her drink before In your most recent post, I see a dripper too.
• Fecal Description - Normal droppings, urate is mostly white. Hasn’t been tested for parasites. I always think a wellness check and having a fecal check for parasites is a good idea.

• Temperature - basking spot is about 85 while cage floor is about 70. Lowest overnight temperature about 67 Basking is a bit warm. I’d suggest trying to bring the temp down to 80, either by raising the bulb or getting a lower wattage.
• Humidity - Humidity after misting at the top usually stabilizes at 50 and falls to 30 after a few hours. Bottom cage humidity usually stays around 60-70 For naturalistic hydration, at night you could add a cool mist humidifier and humidity can get 80-100%. As she breathes, she will be getting some hydration as they do in the wild from fog.
• Plants - Golden Pothos and ficus benjamina
• Placement - Cage is in my bedroom not near any fans or air vents. I’m usually the only one in my room so she has gotten used to me being in there. Cage is on a desk about 3 feet from my room floor.

Aside from these few things, you’ve got it all right. Laying and bins has already been well covered, but I’ll add a bit
. As laying does take a great deal out of our ladies, we try to reduce both the number of eggs they produce and the frequency in which they lay thru diet and basking temps. Right now we just want her to grow up into a beautiful healthy lady. They do mature fast and sometime within the next few months she’ll get her lovely big girl colors. That is when you need to put the lay bin in for her, keep it ready to go and when she needs it, she’ll find it. A few days after she lays her first clutch, you’ll want to cut her feeding down to around 3 feeders, 3 days a week and keep her temps no higher than 80.
