? About mistking Mister

I need some advice and direction on my build for my panther.

I currently have parts of my build on hand just waiting for a few other items to be delivered/ordered.

My next investment is my mister. I am going to purchase the ultimate mister from mistking.com.

My ? For you guys is I am going to go with the humidity/temperature timer vs the seconds timer. From what all I’ve been reading is that most mist 3x a day to achieve the right conditions for a panthers lifestyle. If i go with the humidity/temperature timer this will automatically kick on the mister once it reaches to low/high conditions correct!? But my concern is if you keep your atrium at the right conditions and it doesn’t call for it is that ok for my panther or does the atrium still need misted on a set schedule regardless of the humidity in the atrium!?

I’m just torn between the humidity timer or the seconds timer.

Seconds timer I can schedule daily misting regardless of humidity in atrium.

Or

With humidity timer it will most when it’s needed only.

What are you guys experience with these setups. Thanks for all the direction and help.

When I was looking at buying a mistking (I didn't though btw) from what I read everyone was saying go with the seconds timer over the humidity timer. Are you in Canada or US? If you're in the US he has vendors here that will save you a good chunk of shipping costs from Canada.

Seconds timer is what I recommend. Im in New Jersey and with my heat on I have no issues with maintaining humidity with my mistking spraying 3-4 times per day. My cage has a lot of live plants and I used plastic sheet to cover two sides of the screen. Long first morning mist of 8 minutes then smaller 2-3 minute mistings every 3-4 hours. Keeps my humidity from dropping below 50%.

I will go with the seconds timer since I have a smaller enclosure (medium clear sided atrium from dragon strand)

However, I still want to monitor the temp/humidity do you guys have any recommendations on items that you have used in your current atriums?

I used a accurite one I got from Wal-Mart to test before Blue got here. Now it stays outside his enclosure to keep an eye on ambient in the room though.

Forgot to add, my temps are monitored via my inkbird temp controller.
