Accidental ingestion of feces

So, I fed my chameleon, and noticed immediately after I put the crickets in there (I don't cup feed, still haven't figured that out) that there was drippings in the corner. I watched, disgusted, as two crickets went onto the feces and she snatched up a cricket.. And a poop... And ate them. Is she going to be okay? I'm hoping her body will recognize it as waste and just let it pass through. I clean her tank daily, but that one little bugger got by (must have been recent).

It probably happens more than people realize. As gross as it is for us to think about, your chameleon probably didn't think much of it. It shouldn't cause any problems.

I'm not a chameleon expert, but I've kept a menagerie of other animals alive and healthy my entire life, and they ALL ate poop at some time or other with no ill effects.
