Accurate Newbie Resources: Jumpstart your Understanding

@Beman ...it's always good to have a list of good sites and I for for newbies....and it would be good as a sticky. Would it need approval of sites listed though so "bad" info isn't included?

I dunno. I mainly did the thread because at any given time in the forum there are more than 100 guests looking at threads. Almost every time I have looked it is well over 100 people. I was hoping it would pull people into the right spots while they are lurking lol. Maybe even convince more to join so they can ask questions.

Funny thing is, my experience with bugs is so much less than my experience with reptiles/fish. I've been making bioactive enclosures longer than I've been keeping roach colonies. The true bug lords on invert forums put me to shame, I don't deserve the title! I've just kept a lot of species these past few years so I have a lot of trial and error experience... just like with plants.

This community (with the exception of a few people who must not be named lol) has been nothing but supportive about my content and I consider you guys my cham-ily I too started out lurking on the forums and listening to Bill's podcast back when it was still called the Chameleon Breeder's podcast and before chameleonacademy.com even existed . I still remember the day I got up the courage to answer someone's question on the forums. I think I reread my answer 50 times to make sure it was correct haha.
