Acting weird after shedding

Hello. As you may have read my Cham has just shed for the first time since I've had him. He's three months old. He has been starting to act kind of weird. He was eating today and had to take several shots at his food to get it. His tongue wasn't reaching as far as it normally could have. He also has some leftover skin on his toes and towards the top of his head. Please help

Are you sure he is getting misted enough. Sounds like his mouth could be dry, and the shed not coming off properly makes me suspicious. Could also be he isn't getting enough calcium, and could be showing signs of MBD. Could you fill out a ask for help form so we can take a look see, and see if there is something a'miss. Maybe we can help steer you in the right direction.

Chameleon info:

My Chameleon: 3 month old male veiled chameleon. I got him a month ago.

Handling: none.

Feeding: I have small crickets in a cricket keeper with greens and fruits for gutload. Dust with calcium. Haven't fed vitamins yet

Supplements: see Feeding

Watering: Little Dripper on top of cage with spout dripping water onto live plants on side of cage. Fogger, mister. Had to put a bucket under cage because water was getting on my dresser. I mist twice a day.

Fecal Description: Seems to be normal. One turd that is very wet and urate is watery. Could be because my dad threw a grasshopper that was 5 inches long in his cage (I told him not to)That was the only one that looked like that.

History: none.

Cage info:

Cage type: medium (18x18x30 in.) reptibreeze terrarium.

Lighting: UVB dome lamp and 50 watt basking bulb

Humidity: 40-45%

Temperature: 80-86 degrees Fahrenheit

Plants: live and fake plants

Placement: top of cage is about 7 feet high on dresser

Location: Colorado

Current Problem: Low humidity

This is the skin that's left on him

When you say dust with calcium, what kind of calcium? Calcium with no D3? Calcium with D3? Is it Rashpry calcium plus?

These things are normal there will always be a little bit of dry skin stuck to them somewhere and as for the misfire when eating that also just happens sometimes. there simply just miss judging where the cricket is

His pic looks okay too me, and other than needing a larger enclosure, and bringing his temps up to 90-95 degrease as he matures I don't see anything that sticks out in your care. I would agree with Andrew I think as long as his aim doesn't misfire too often, or don't get worse, or any of the left behind shed doesn't seem to restrict his blood flow I wouldn't worry about it too much.

P.S. Are you sure it's a he have you seen the little spurs on the back of his rear feet?

My male has shed 3 times since I got him a couple moths ago. My female of the same age hasn't shed yet.
