the babies are two weeks old. They are in an 8x8x12 nano right now sucking up fruitflies.

I believe they are a male and a female. :)

Wow:eek:sooo small...cool...
Did you breed and they hatched or did you buy them like that?

Are you gonna breed more and sell them? Although there are soooo tiny I can't wait to see them grown up

I know other people have pairs. I am hoping to trade one of them so i can start a second breeding pair.

The female was gravid when I got her. i am trying to give them cooler temps so they will be in the mood more :D

this is the first time she has showed these colors. I am hoping they mean she is receptive. UPDATE: I am told the colors in this pic of my female means she is gravid. More babies!!

I have been trying hard to get my hands on any type of Pygmy so let me know if you have a place to buy them

Definitely something you don’t see every day. Neat! They look like a piece of moss. Was one of them born with a spinal problem or is that just an odd pose in those few photos?

Yes trace it looks to be that one has a small kink at the base of its spine. I believe that one is female. The other I am hoping is a male. Will have to see as they grow.

Do you have any picks of the setup? My babies seems to die after a few day and I only have one left. Any tricks on there care? Here's a picture of my last baby.

The eyelid of your baby acuminatus appears irritated and inflamed. My guess is that there may be too much humidity in your cage, or the cage is not drying sufficiently between mistings.

I had acuminatus two years ago which died due to an eye infection. Their eyelids became inflamed similar to what I perceive in your image. I believe that humidity and a damp cage were the culprits. It was strange because I had identical cages with brevicaudatus, which thrived under identical conditions. My suspicion is that acuminatus live in cooler temps at higher altitudes than brevs, and therefore experience less humidity. They may also climb higher than brevs and therefore stay out of the dank leaf litter below.

This is just my suspicion. It's hard to get it right with such small animals.
