Hi
My boyfriend is creating a new tank for our 2 month old female veiled chameleon, Mia. We have been reading up on what "real" plants we can use in her tank?? Were off to the shops today to buy some. Please can someone give me some advice on which real plants are best.
We have a ficus benjamina, but i have read threads saying that they are toxic, and now im worried about putting her on there! There is so much about the plants, i would just like someone with experience to help please.
Thank you!!

ficus benjamina is fine.
but, if you want safer plants, hibiscus rosa sinensis is your best choice.

would i find them in the indoor or outdoor section??
Thank you
I cant wait till the new viv is built!! We've spent over £100 already...without any plants/vines etc....we just want it to be perfect!!! :0)

The ficus you would probably find in the indoor section of the garden department of you local nursery or even at Lowes or Home Depot.
Not sure about the Hibiscus. I would think they would be in the outdoor section.

Do not know where you are located but here in TN, they only carry Hibiscus in the fall.

I got my Hibiscus at Lowes in the outdoor plant section with a nice braided trunk about 4ft. tall!:D and my cham loves it as a matter of fact i can't seem to get it to bloom again cuz he munches the buds while cruzing through his crib
