Also! I have his lights on a 12 hour cycle but sometimes I stay up in my room after his lights turn off, will the lights in my room affect him?

Hello! Ghibli is a cutie! What type of panther is he? Grats on your new little one. :)

Calcium w/out D3 at almost every feeding, multivitamin once every 2 weeks, and calcium w/ D3 once every 2 weeks. I usually alternate Mondays as a set day to make it easy.

A 12 hour lighting schedule is good. If I am around the chameleon rooms after their bedtime.. I usually only use dim lighting. Getting their sleep is really important.

Thanks!!! So switch calcium with D3 and multivitamin with D3 every Monday. Will he be getting too much D3 because both supplements have d3 in them??? Thanks again, Ghibli is a blue barred green bodied a ambilobe panther!!! He is 4 months and I just got him some mealworms to see if he will eat them tomorrow! :) so excited

I cover my guys at night since they are in the main living area so they have more consistent darkness.

I have a veiled and ambilobe chameleons in my room and they sleep just fine when their lights go off and the room light is still on. You'll start seeing him crawl/climb to his favorite sleeping spot minutes before the lights go off once he gets to learn his light cycle. I always thought that was cool it's like they know bedtime is coming :D.Good luck...
