advice would be great, i already read the care sheets fyi

Hello!!
My 4 month old Charlie (veiled) has not pooped in 3 days!!?? And he hasn't drank water for 2??? And he's barely eating...?? He keeps his mouth open wide for long periods of time, I noticed he started doing that today.I just got him 4 days ago. His take is pretty big compared to his size. It's the bio bubble chameleon cantina set up. I keep his tank at 78-82, and humidity 50-70. There are tons of vines for him and lots of live plants.(safe plants) I put Ice cubes in the same spot everyday multiple times a day for his drinking. He seems to be doing poorly. I don't handle him more then just to

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues, but can you please fill out this form in the link below that is provided as paste it here. Plus pictures help a lot, nice and clear ones!!! Thanks

Have you read this?https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/faq/ How do you monitor temps in the cantina? Do you use a temp gun? Do you use one/multiple Thermometer Hygrometer/s -where in the cantina is it/are they located? It may be the top of your cage is too hot and humid hence the reason the mouth is open. It may be he ingested some moss off of his vine when he was trying to eat a cricket. We need more info to help you.

I just posted it here. Hope that's what I was suppose to do lol

When there mouths are open it usually means one of two things, First it could be a Lower/Upper Respiratory Infection or the temps are to high.
Instead of Ice Cubes try a dixie cup with a needle hole in the bottom and place it on top of the cage. Use warm water. Make sure it's a slow drip. You might go through a few cups getting it right. Also, chameleons are ninjas when it comes to drinking, for whatever reason most prefer to do it when no one is watching, maybe they feel vulnerable? It the urate white? The urate is the solid pee portion of there poop.
Make sure the bottom is free of any standing water, it will harbor bacteria and all kinda issues.

Is the ceiling fan on?? Is he near a window?
IMHO the night temperature being 70 isn't a big problem especially if your chameleon has a respiratory infection. Is there excess mucus in its mouth??
Is that a dieffencachia I see in the cage?

Those bio bubbles are death traps. I've written the company before asking them how they can market such a poor product. Unfortunately they still sell them. I'd take your chameleon out immediately. If it's not a respitory infection it soon will be.

He has a bit of mucus, but I'm not sure if I'd say it's excess amount. The fan is not on and he is not by a window. And yes I didn't know the name of that plant till you just told me, my friend who has a chameleon bought it for me to use in the cage.

I guess he hasn't pooped cuz he was waiting to build up th is monster. It's literally the same length as him.

If it helps any, I leave the top off always. My lights didn't fit in, so there is more air flow. ?

I used a Chameleon cantina up until a month ago I had no issues with it while my cham was young I just moved her to a 2x2x4 once she became an adult in fact it was easier to keep the humidity using it I only had to msit 3 times a day and never had URIs I did have to change the 60w basking bulb to 40w though cause it made Temps way too hot and I always left the top on.
