Age ?

If you post a picture the experienced people can give you what would be their best guess. The rate of growth can vary from Cham to Cham... So it really would only be a "Your cham appears to be around this age" type of guestimation, But it would get you a better idea. The only way to really know exactly how old your cham is would be to contact the person who hatched it. If it is Wild Caught... THere is really no way to know for sure.

if you can post pics of it in your hand, doesnt have to be handled though if you dont like that just get some pictures up..

take rruler to him and post the pick...how long have you had him and how small was he when you bought him.

Will get some pics up later,
My first cham Chandler i was told was 6 months and she is pretty big, and then i got Yoshi on Saturday and was told she was 5 months and she is tiny.

Unless you know what kind of cham it is it is hard to know how big it should be. Pictures are needed and we all can do our best to tell you what their approximate ages are.

Here is my Girls.
They are both Yemen Chameleons.
Chandler is the bigger and Yoshi smaller.

This interests me too. I bought a male who lived in a closet. The crazy lady swears he is 3 years. He is about 2 inches smaller than my 1 yr old female and has shed twice in the 3 months Ive had him. He is a veiled, seems very healthy and eats great. He has def. grown. Is it possible he is a runt? Is there such a thing as "miniature" (not pygmy)LOL.. The lady was definately crazy..What would be something good to get a pic of him next to for size comparison..Him in his cage isn't going to tell you much.. We thought he might just be malnourished. Would that stunt him that much?

I would think the little girl is 3+ months older, but not 5 months. Although there always is the possibility she is just small.

It is so hard to tell, you know one thing Yoshi is young. :)

it all depends

the juvinile chams eat not as much of the cricket, the adolts usualy eat the whole thing. But i red that on flchams you should check out the site it is very helpful

Chandler, with a tape measure: Any idea on an age ?
