Hi, I recently got a baby chameleon from a pet store. Her name is Tulip and I've had her for about two weeks. This is her:
During the first couple of days I had her I could easily handle her and she would just climb onto my finger, but today and yesterday she has gotten very aggressive and is hissing and striking at me :-(. I've decided to leave her alone today but now I don't know what to do. I come at her very slowly and I've never hurt her so I don't know whats wrong, is there anyway I can get her to calm down? (She recently went through a shed btw, if that has any correlation at all)
I also have an adult female chameleon named Smiley and she always lets me handle her, shes never striked at me like Tulip, she has hissed though but not very often. This is Smiley:
