does anyone know some weird or cool things to do in Tampa bay, florida,
were going to busch gardens, and yachting, and to the beach, going out to dinner, but does anyone know of any weird or cool things to do in that area, and does anyone know a place that sells snorkel or scuba gear in the tampa bay area.

Just north of Tampa (PM Todd for directions) there is some of the best mountain bike trails in the State. Hell they are better than 75% of the ones in the rest of the country. Definitely worth renting a bike for.

I say PM Todd as it's been several yrs since I went. I know you go north on I75 for about 20-30 mins then get off..The trails I know about are east of the interstate.

There is also a dirt bike track next to some of the other trails....If you prefer motorized fun.

there are scuba shops all over Tampa you just need to watch for them. If you are in the South Tampa area http://action-aquatics.com/ is one that i was fond of. Its right near the bay as well as close to the base.
