almost 1 year old. big enough? beautiful enough :)

honestly for one year old he looks very thin. What are you feeding him, how much, what do you gutload with?. His limbs look very skinny and his fat pads are kinda sunken in. Don't mean to not sound nice here but just what I see.

Yeah, he is really thin. His cheeks and head shouldnt be so sunken in and his spine is showing too much. He needs to eat more! He seems a little short, and normally I would say that some just grow slower, but with him being so thin... He needs to eat more if he doesnt have some medical problems.

I'm glad you say that I took him to the vet the baby crickets don't seems to do much for him I've been feeding him bigger crickets like 5 big ones he's been gaining weight luckily I probably will get some worms to help?.

He's been refusing to eat, but since i switched to big ones he's been eating well vet said to try silk worms? I just want to get him up to weight

Silk worms are a great feeder. If he likes them he can put on weight fairly easy with silkies. He may be a bit skinny but he sure is beautiful.

Definitely use bigger crickets! Sometimes they refuse the smaller ones like its too much trouble to hunt down so many. Try all sorts of foods! Supers, silks, hornworms, crickets, mantids, butterworms, etc!

He looks like reallyyyy skinny follow the advice about using a bigger variety to keep him interested. My Sambava is 11 months and almost 20" monster man.

To help him add weight, feed more frequently and greater quantity. You should definately be offering a variety of appropriately sized feeder prey. In addition to gutloaded crickets, Good choices include: silkworms, butterworms, superworms (these are fatty, but your guy needs some fat!), indian walking sticks, terrestrial isopods, termites....

Looking at his cask I would give him as many crickets as he wants to eat for a while. I'd also increase the water given just to ensure hydration.

What are you using with regards to heat lamps/emitters/UV bulbs. What temperature is the basking spot at?

He's afraid of his crickets now..he ate two worms today and won't eat more. If I show him a cricket he backsup and runs away
