Almost never stressed?

So Kaleo is very comfortable with humans and loves to climb out when he sees somebody in the room he's always really bright colors too. The only time he's stressed is if I am not by him when he's roaming by himself too long and turns happy colors when i come back. Is that normal for a chameleon to be not so stressed by people?

I think that is normal. Once a chameleon gets really comfortable with one person they usually only like that one person.

Actually, showing bright colors is a sign of stress. If he was not excited or stimulated by you or some other intruder into his space his colors would be quieter. There is good stress (stimulation and excitement) and bad stress (fear or anger).

Yeah thats crazy he sounds like a puppy lol about when your not in the room with him. Cant say ive ever seen or heard of that but kool.

I know definitely when hes stressed he turns army colored, dark brown green stripes and his turrets turn dark when his turrets are dark he's definitely stressed. But yeah he's my lil baby loves his mommy XD

Turns yellow when scared/stressed especially but usually he's happy green blue red spots on his spikey back

Sounds to me like you are lucky and have a lovely lizard! Not unnatural at all, but don't expect all chams to be like this
My last monitor lizard was a big confident boy, my female of the same species is just so nervous of all people it's upset me a bit how scared she is sometimes...........I want to be friends like with my last one

Of course especially since im getting another a veiled I know he definitely won't be like my panther but thats okay yiu know they all have different personalities

Does kaleo ever like flare up in size and puff up his neck. I mean that is the easiest way for me to know if my Panther is pissed off and doesn't want to be bothered. Sometimes his totally cool and wants to come out of his cage for a wonder around, sometimes he just wants to be left alone.

The fact that your chameleon seems to always want to be around humans I think is unique. Definitely enjoy it, but just be aware that he could easily change his personality and the way he interacts with humans in the future.
