Am I being ripped off (Black Jungle) ??

In October 27 I used Black Jungle's online shop http://www.blackjungle.com to buy some substrate and hydroton. I checked in the site if they do International Shipments and aparently they do them. In the end I used Paypal to pay. They withdrawed their money from my account right away and I waited for the package...

A month an a half and I still don't have any kind of clue about what happened to my order. I tried to contact them throu their site 3 times and still nothing...

I'm using this forum has another chance to try contacting Black Jungle (after this I'll try to send a letter...) since some sellers use this forums, and to check if anyone has had any problem with this seller. I don't like raising suspicions about these kind of thing but there are some facts I can't overlook.

-The order was processed and my money was withdrawed.
-Customs never contacted me.
-Even if they did and I hadn't answered, the package would be returned to Black Jungle and they could have it resent.
-I tried to contact them 3 times and I haven't obtain an answer.

Dodolah's correct, report it to paypal with all relevant info and you should be covered and therefore reimbursed!

There is a phone number listed on their 'about us' page. Have you called them? I don't think they are a member here.

The Chameleon Forums is not currently setup to publicly settle these kinds of disputes. If all else fails, I think you would do better at faunaclassifieds (boi).

They are a very good company to deal with but they are extremely busy as their co has exploded in the last few years call them and I am sure they will rectify the problem.

They owe me part of a shipment ,that was on backorder,....about 5 months ago! I emailed, no reply,no package. I have a friend who thay did the same thing to as well. Those guys need to learn how to run a business.

I think customers need to phone companies if they don't answer email. There is too much potential for someonething to go wrong with an email, why chance it while you are having problem wht the company? Talk to someone directly and resolve the issue immediately. Not a couple days later once your email is in que.

Avoid Blackjungle at all cost. They are over priced and their recent "success" has come at the expense of quality and customer service. I strongly feel that even busy companies should be able to make shipments within a reasonable time frame. I waited nearly a month for my order from Blackjungle. I called upset and they told me to relax. I don't want to hear that the problem is my inability to relax. I want to hear "Yes sir, sorry sir. Your order for 75 of your hard earned dollars will ship out tomorrow. And since it took us three weeks to process the order we are going to drop the shipping charge."

6 weeks and no product or contact = report it to paypal and put it up on the BOI at the faunaclassifieds.


It's that simple considering how fast you say they withdrew your money.
