Current Problem - i walked in the other day and noticed his eyes closed once I sprayed his cage he opened them. I don't know if he was napping if something's wrong I'm constantly worried about him and need to know if I'm doing anything wrong. He eats no problem and drinks he stays at the top of his cage on his basking spot. He shed not to long ago about 5 days ago and under his neck is still white it is normally bright orange is that normal? Am I just freaking out over little things and he's actually ok?

IMO 90 is too warm for a panther. I always kept the basking spot for mine around 86. In the past allot of people had problems with the coil bulbs causing damage to the eyes. The problem was suppose to be corrected but I still read on here where people still have problems, even very experienced keepers. I see a few others things that you can find in my blog linked below. Did the vet do a fecal? If not I recommend a fecal to rule out parasites. These guys gets parasites allot due to the feeders they eat. If the parasites so untreated they can make them sick and eventually kill them. Please post some photos of your little man and his enclosure. I send a message to a friend in Laffette to see if he knows any good cham vets. I'll let you know when I hear back from him. He use to keep multi panthers and I know he uses a vet quite often.

He looks good to me. A very handsome boy. BUT one of my guys looked and acted great and he was still loaded with cociddia, the very worst parasite. It was found in a routine check. After two rounds of treatment he was clean. :)

Thank you so much as soon as I can find a vet here that knows what they're doing when it comes to a Panther chameleon I will get him checked for parasites.
