When I bought my baby girl Raine from my local pet store she "looked and acted" healthy. Well, less than a week later I had to take her to the vet because she has an eye infection. She never recovered from the stress. I had a second apt. less than 2 weeks after the first but she passed away before I could get her in. She was about 3 weeks old when I got her and I had her less than a month. When I went to buy another one I made sure he was older. He has done extremely well and is growing like a weed. My care was spot on with Raine so the only thing I could think of was that she was not in the best of health when I got her. Went back and looked at others that were in the same enclosure and their eye were closed during the day, Not a good sign. Just make sure you look him/her over really well and look at others in the store to see how they are acting..
