Ambanja or nosy be?

Whats the best way? I've never had this happen before.

put a large potted tree(i have a ficus) in the shower..point the head of the shower at the wall and keep the tree away from it..you are just trying to create mist from the water bouncing off the wall

temperature..cool..not cold, not hot..maybe just barley warm..cool shower to you, but not omg this is cold as S***..remember we are 98 degrees, so warm to them 78, is cool to us..

Take her outside...In cage or on plant and mist her for several minutes every so often. I usually do it w new WCs just to make sure they get hydrated properly. I place cages indirectly in sun with one big plant. Spray in the air so the drops fall on them. Ill do it for 15 mins at a time some times. others a mins or so. Ill continue doing it several times throughout the day. Also feed the juicy feeders how I explained before. Hornworms would be good for her about now.

Way easier and safer to do it outside with a hose and a nozzle turned to mist and spray in the air. Showering chameleons is something I would do in the winter maybe if I ever did. Sounds like a accident waiting to happen. Not to mention outside they get the natural sunlight. Best of both if you have that option. I know some dont have access to hose or live in Apts. so shower would be the next best.

also a very good idea..as for uvb will be a big benefit!!!

I already notice a difference. She's been in for 20 mins now and already a better color and her eyes are already becoming unsunken. Shes sitting there climbing into the drips almost like she wants a shower. Hornworms are on order and I have fresh crix loading with romaine lettuce and oranges. I'll post more pix in a few days.

she actually does look better..do a week of those with your standard feeding, drinking, supplements schdule and you should be good..its all on her tho, as long as her stress levels stay under her healthy levels she will pop up with more weight, eating, drinking habits..good luck!!:D

She doesnt look too far gone - should bounce back to good form through the provision of plenty of water and good food.

Will the seller be taking her back and providing a female of certain lineage?
or giving you a refund?

I'm actually sticking this one through. She didn't arrive like this she just turned within a day and got bad. This morning already she looks plumper and her eyes are back to normal. She has a feast planned today and another shower for this afternoon. If she's still not 100% by Friday she will be going to the vet.

Just the one on page 3 from yesterday afternoon. I'm at work now but I will post an update one later today!

Cool. So she has a basking and UVB lamp in here cage. To much water can also case scale rot make sure its airy and warm afterwards

Cool. chat later home time :) holding thumbs she looks better when you get home could take a few days to fully recover. Good luck

Excellent that you are going to keep her, as you obviously care about her.
SHipping is very stressfull and can itself cause some dehydration. I think you will find she bounces back. Give her lots of space, quiet, and water (a dripper is perfect as it can go for a length of time without you being around, and keeps her in her cage so less handling required).

Ok latest update is this little girl is doing much better. She had another shower today and ate 2 fully loaded crix. These hornworms cant get here quick enough though...

What a difference now.... 2 days of gutload crix and showers. Under different circumstances you may say she is having a spa day...

She does seem to be looking better.

When I have a dehydrated rescue that eats I will inject the crickets or roaches with pedialyte, it seems to make a difference.

Keep up the good work!
