Ambanja

This batch of banjas is turning out better than expected.
I'm still waiting on the yellow to come out on these guys it's usually the last color to show.

Yellow, the last color to show and the color everyone wants the most lol. Man I hope my clutch of Ambanjas pops out with yellow also, the dad was yellow body and blue bars which is incredible rare for Ambanjas. The female of my clutch was a wild caught Ambanja, so i have no idea what i have cooking but I hope they turn out have as good as yours.

Awesome Ambanjas as always

Hope everyone knows Ambanjas > Nosy Falys.

I agree Ambanjas>Falys! I have both and I still prefer Ambanjas.
I don't care for yellow in mine except around the lips. Alot of blue and some red for me. That guy looks perfect right now!

Yep, Ambanjas were my first love from the pic in the 1991 Vivarium article by Gary Ferguson. Back then there were 4 locales: Nosy Be, Ambanja, Diego Suarez, and "East Coast Rainbow." Even with all the locale-types that have been recognized to date, Ambanjas are still my favorites.
