ambilobe, mouth slightly yellow

I have an ambilobe in a big enclosure, plenty of plants

feeds on crickets. Haven't been dusting the best but havn't been screwing it up too much now that i've gone into researching supplementation a little bit more.

I caught a glimpse inside his mouth, he is about a year old. Around his mouth it is slightly yellow inside, and i saw deep into his cheeks and they looked to be the normal red color, didn't see much except on spot with a red looking light/little vein ...looked like maybe an small irritation or something from eating to quickly.

anyways

I don't know much about the slight yellowness, I wouldn't say it looked gross it looked a little normal ... maybe just a lil too yellow i don't know i'll try to get a picture but my guy rarely opens his mouth at me nor can i open it manually, he does the block perhaps someone can instruct me, and or advice me on this slight yellowness, it really doesn't look like a huge deal but perhaps this is something common or something a vet can comment on.

Im no vet or expert but i do know the inside the mouth of panthers can vary from yellow to green to a bronze/brown color. Last time i took my panther to the vet the vet checked his mouth and said it was completely normal. The inside of my guys mouth is sort of a pea green color. I wouldnt worry to much about it.

I used to work at an exotic pet store so I had to care for all kinds of chameleons, and I did notice that some variated in the pigment inside their mouth... BUT, u must watch out b/c sometimes it could be the early signs of mouth rot. If you notice any scabbing or thick saliva take him to the vet immediately!
