Ambilobe setup critique

Funny, I don't remember asking for temp advice but thanks for presenting you opinion in such a non suggestive judgmental manner.

What is the title of your thread?

Temps are a huge part of a set up. I was just trying to be helpful. But that's fine, you want to take offence for some reason.

Too bad it is your chameleon that will suffer.

There are many more things I wanted to say here, but I will refrain.

Good luck, with your attitude you will need it.

Not nearly enough plants, branches or vines to climb on. The previous comments made were correct about your temps as well. Also if you are going to have a hard time with humidity with your current set up.

What is with you? Please quote me where I called myself an expert as I surely did not.

You came here asking advise, I tried to help, and you say you will do what the breeder tells you.

Why did you waste time coming here?

I really don't care to argue. Have a good day.

Wyatt,

Chameleons are arboreal, meaning they are tree-dwelling creatures. I would focus more on the top and mid portion of the cage by adding horizontal branches and plenty of foilage, so he is able to hide from the light when needed. I'd recommend getting one of those bird ladders and placing it horizontally across, about 8 inches down from the top of the cage. You can then use it as a base to hang the fake vines and fake plants.

Thanks much I just posted a picture with some added branches and fake folliage until my live plants thrive anyway. I may add some more tonight.

I eventually plan on having him on my lanai but it's been brutally hot here so I'm going to keep him inside for a while.
