Amy Winehouse

im not making fun, but i think i should check into rehab.. really starting to think im anorexic

Its easy to say she died of drugs and booze because of her past but that aint certain yet. As i said before i hope her troubled soul is at peace now and her family and friends find the strength somehow to deal with this hard time and to give her the best send off. I weren't a fan because im more into rock/metal music but there is no denying she helped put British music back on the map instead of all that rnb gangster c**p that people call music lately. As a fellow Brit im proud of her for that.

Totally. I know what you mean of course, but just imho - jokes are allowed to go to the extreme, but I will disagree with any genuine disrespect, just because she was/is so damn good.
It's when addicts are just starting to get help, and actually start to understand how bad it's got that slip-ups can often be catastrophic..........

How about this for a fantasy band:

Drums: Keith Moon
Bass: Sid Vicious
Lead: Jimi Hendrix
Vocals: Lux Interior.

Lux Interior of The Cramps who is the greatest performer I have ever seen. If Lux is too busy causing mayhem in hell I think Freddie Mercury would be a suitable replacement.

Another celebrity with more money and opportunities than most will ever have pissing away her life; sorry, I don’t care. How many solders, police officers, fire fighters, moms and dads, ECT have died this year with no mention? Too many. . .

I think anybody who doesn't recognize her amazing talent has only heard the one song, so thinks that's all she was about.

Sadly, she was seriously troubled. It would have been nice if she could have gotten her act together.

Eminem should hold classes for troubled young musicians on how to manage having a career, being true to your vision while actually staying alive and healthy.

Well, she ultimately did. From what I've read she was in rehab this year, but she just wasn't someone who could be rehabilitated.

I follow GOD on Twitter and he said (recognizing that it's not really GOD and it's not a spiritual being, just some person who grabbed the handle):

RIP Amy Winehouse, thou talented, tormented soul. I have good news for thee: Salvation awaits thee in heaven. Betty Ford just got here.

They don't get mentioned online so much, because they are not celebrities. That's also why they won't get the bad publicity. She was still a human being like all those you didn't mention. How much do you really care about them if you don't care about Amy? Jog on, mate.
