Hi guys and girls,
So viv is ordered up gone for the muji one, misting system sorted, so now looking at analogue or digital temperature and humidity sensors? Best position for each sensor? I’ve looked at a few main brands like zoo med which all seem to be expensive and many people not happy with them so looking maybe instead of a dual system go individual but also have analogue in the bib for back up? What’s your thoughts fellow chameleon family?

Anything like these would work well.
Just try to place in an area that wont get misted directly.

A lot of people (including myself) have used govee. It is nice to keep track of temps overnight or while you were away.
The only sucky part is that doesn't show a screen on the actual device with real time data, you have to look at it on your phone.
BUT i have seen other govee products that do

I use the ZooMed one that Amanda has pictured, it works well, I think. As Amanda pointed out, placement of the probes is key. I have my temp probe towards the top of the enclosure on the side, where it does not get direct contact with basking light. The humidity prob is placed upside down on the outer edge of the cage, around half-way down the height of the cage, out of range of any potential mist/water hitting it, the best I could do at least.
