Annie was so excited to go to the vet that she wanted to drive. she was a pretty good drive too, she checked the lanes before changing into them
so the vet didn't want to do xrays. she said "if we see eggs i'll say keep doing what your doing, if i don't see eggs i'll say keep doing what your doing, so theres no reason to put her through that. since shes eating and has a soft stomach i'm not worried that shes egg bound" but she took a culture of her mouth, i'll get that back next week. over all she said annie looks like shes okay except the fact that she needs more hydration. she thinks annies eyes are closed because she is so weak. annie opens her eyes now if there is movement, but when she is feeling comfortable and unthreatened she closes them. and the vet thinks the reason she can't go down branches is because she can't hold her weight up very well, yet. i didn't have a fresh stool sample to bring in and annie only droped a lovely white urate while we were there so there was no chance to check for parasites.
her casque is filling out nicely too
the vet was really suprised when i told her that annies feet where really fat when i got her and she could barely hold on to branches becasue of that. she said that was most likey caused from kidney failure, the rubbery orange urate also said death, to the vet when i told her about it.
i'm glad to have annie
