Another Petco Cham

It depends who works in there,I would say about 80percent workers there are "robots"....plz clean up the isle 9;plz restock the cat food, etc they cant really do anything cause they were been told to do what they supposed to do by their manager, and all the chams there are in the glass tanks,I havnt see a screen cage set up properly just for the chams needs in any Petco.
Yes,you can buy a cheap chams there, and you are also taking a chance to get a "CHEAP DEAD CHAMS" that already mark for death in the future, and all they do is telling you..."thank you for shopping with Petco, have a nice day".

Yep I got a cheap cham from petco and paid 3 times over in vet visits but got everything corrected from reading a ton on this forum
And your reading in the forum is free:)
So 30.00plus tax does not=3x30,but free is = ur knowledge 4ever,so great job JGinan007,I will agree with you on this so far......:)

Personally I use Pet Supplies Plus. Yes it is a chain but it is a friendly chain and they often take good care of their animals. They take better care of fish, hermit crabs, and yes reptiles, than any other chain I have ever seen.

i never heard of them

There's a Pet Supplies Plus in my town and they have a great selection of quality dog/cat food and fish/reptile/amphibian supplies. With that being said, they used to sell tiny veileds in glass aquariums with improper husbandry.. Last time I went to get dog stuff, I asked about their chams and the worker said they don't sell them anymore unless specifically ordered.
If people want to stop seeing these creatures in poor health and habitats, then the simplest thing to do is not support them and buy your cham from a reputable breeder.

I must have been very lucky ,I bought 2 chams, first one they sold me cage and all the right supplys also told me if I have any questions just call and ask also gave me the number of the vet they use if I have any health problems ,,,so far no problems ,here is a picture of my daughters cham that's 5 mths old ,this site has helped at times with some questions I had thanks all
