Problem: You'll have a fake vine in every window in the house. Yes, even the bathroom. I tried to hold out not putting a vine in the bathroom, but he kept climbing the trash can to the toilet to the tissue box. . .

Part One (Notice how he doesn't want my help!)

Part Two (Finally!)

Deb

Great videos Deb! You know your guy is so much healthier and happier than the caged chams that can't get any exercise and have to sit in a boring cage all day. I do have one suggestion. My blinds had to go years ago. They were replaced with chameleon window seats. :D

Ha! Yes, the entire back of the house has the chameleon window seats. But c'mon, Jann, I need a LITTLE privacy in the bathroom!

So adorable! I think this also qualifies for proving how committed we are to our chams - and the fact that I sat here for 6 minutes watching him climb the blinds and inwardly cheering him on! :D

Yea, and you watched the abbreviated version! The full 35 minute version is where he starts in the dining room on the pine tree, then to his free range in the living room, then down to the floor. . . across the floor, down the hallway, always making a stop at the front door to see if I will open it for our "daily walk." Then it's off to the bathroom. . . watching THAT whole thing would be a new torture technique to use to get information we want from anyone!

wait a minute... daily walk?

I would so love to be able to have mine free range but my dogs did not graduate from etiquette class. :(. I will however have a nice plant with the dog gate closed for him to roam from time to time when I am watching of course  I love the pics of him in the blinds

Go, Phineas! And, I don't think it would be torture to jealously watch Phineas go strolling through your house. I still can't get Prometheus out of his viv on his own, let alone free-range...

I second the video of the daily walk!!

I used to take our beardie out but my Cham is still way too little and of course the weather is frightful here (West of Toronto) maybe by the time summer comes he can enjoy outdoor time!!

I have a question about free ranging. What about the poop?
Phineas poops about every 2 to 3 days and always in his free range.

i want to see a video of the daily walk!!!!!

Yup we want the daily walk video ...

Well, since I am in NJ those videos will have to wait until spring. I'm a bit hesitant though. . . the neighbors will think I'm sizing up their houses for a heist. Plus, I can't keep an eye out for hawks, dogs, and children when I'm recording.

And just FYI, I spent gazillions of time building a nice FR and Phineas has spent EVERYDAY in the bathroom window for over two months!

Here's the free range. Don't bother looking for Phineas.

Here's where Phineas prefers to spend his time.
