I just noticed an ant in my chameleon cage, I know they can do damage so tomorrow I'm going to change all the soil in all the plants in both of my cages and clean them out good. I have read that lemon juice and peperment oils ect. Can get rid of ants naturally, would it be a bad idea to spray some around my cage? Not in it but just around. I also think that is I do that the ants lights just stay inside. Any help would be much appriated! Anyone know chameleon safe ways to get rid of them?

You may want to make sure they are not baby crickets. In any case when I clean my cage I use vinegar and water then rinse with plain water. Don't use any chemicals.

I'm 95% sure they are ants. I'm looking for something to get rid/prevent the ants without hitting my chameleons. I don't know if it would be okay to spray peppermint oil or lemon juice around his cage
