Any good reptile stores in Atlanta?

I'm visit my daughter in Atlanta for her birthday party tonight and wanted to check out a few stores today. Let me know if any of you know of any.

Ok, here's the key word...."good". Depends on your definition of such. We have some decent small operations going, like Exotic Pet in Norcross (who we actually supply with feeders regularly) but they're getting just off the ground. I believe they have a store in East Atlanta as well.

Most of Atlanta is pet superstores, it's different from Florida. Unlike Ft. Pierce (at least the edges of the city of Ft. Pierce), everything is really close together, but you have to get on the interstate to go anywhere because there is just so much condensed into the Atlanta area. My advice is make a tour of Petsmart's in the area, as they usually have the best reptile care out of the big pet stores up here. There are several Petco's, but I used to work for them, and know first hand the poor conditions with which their animals are kept, which isn't the employees' faults because they expect too much from only 3 people working a shift (sometimes only 2 in the store at any given time with Petco). Petsmart always has 3-5 associates in the store at all times, so they pay better attention to their animals.

We have some Pet Supermarkets up here too, but I haven't been to any. We have a bunch of "Pet Boutiques" where you can by stupid lil clothing pieces to embarass your dog and feed stores for high quality foods. Oh and there's Randar's Reptiles, which is supposed to be the best Pet Store in Atlanta, but that's south of the city, and I'm located just north so I haven't been there yet. You can check them out at www.randarsreptiles.com. I'm personally not a big fan of large "pet dealers" that deal in a wide range and number of animals due to being kept poorly, but I don't know if this is the case for them or not.

And of course you can send her up to Roswell to meet Amy and I, and maybe get some of those Hornworms which continues to vex me...I was dang committed to getting you some alive, probably lost my butt 3 times in that sale LOL! Anyways, we'd love to have her by Feeder Central, we've got so much inhouse stock now it's getting nutty, so we'd be a worthwhile stop as well. Just give her my phone number if you still have it and ask her to give me a call before she's ready to go.

Good luck with your daughter's trip, Atlanta is a fun place! Also make sure she goes by the Aquarium and the Zoo if she can fit it in.

Sorry to bump an old thread but this is the only thing that came up in search. Does anyone have an update on great reptile stores in atlanta?
